On National Girls and Women in Sports Day, Formula Buckeyes is proud to highlight several of the many women whose dedication and leadership help drive the success of our team on and off the track! From design and fabrication to testing, media, and mentorship, these members play an essential role in shaping the success of our program.
Their work spans every part of the team, blending technical skill, creativity, and collaboration to push the boundaries of collegiate motorsports.
Hailey Krueger-- Electronics Lead
Hailey focuses on the design and manufacturing of PCB boards used inside and outside the battery pack. She also helps teach, mentor, and share electronics knowledge with other team members.
Makayla Pindroh-- Media Lead
Makayla helps drive media and communications, connecting the team and telling its story through photography, social media, and digital marketing. She keeps Formula Buckeyes' presence professional, fun, and on-brand.
Megan Carmody-- Media Lead
Megan supports the team's media presence through livery design and video editing. She helps create engaging, polished content that represents Formula Buckeyes on and off the track.
Parker Willis-- Suspension Engineer
Parker contributes to suspension development and serves as a test driver, translating on-track feedback into engineering improvements to make the car faster and more competitive. Outside the team, she is a race-winning driver in the SRF and FE2 classes and the OVR 2025 Rookie of the Year.
Jordan Pelland-- Brakes and Ergonomics Team Member
Jordan contributes to hands-on design and fabrication projects, including building the ergo rig and competing in the brake rotor challenge. She also designed a CAD mold for a carbon fiber PCB box and supported the full manufacturing process.
Gabbi Anderson-- Chassis Team Member
Gabbi contributes to chassis fabrication with a focus on composite materials. She works on carbon fiber layups, including wet and prepreg methods, for molds and the monocoque chassis, and supports development of a new carbon fiber headrest design.
Julia Varghese-- Electronics Team Member
Julia regularly solder PCBs and supports a variety of electronics projects. She collaborates closely with teammates while developing hands-on technical skills that support the car's electrical systems.
Sienna Angove-- Chassis Team Member
Sienna contributes to sanding and polishing the chassis molds and is currently beginning the process of preparing them for chassis layup. She will then assist with moving them from mold finishing into the next phase of the build.
Formula Buckeyes is proud to celebrate these highlighted members, along with every female member of Formula Buckeyes, today and every day. We remain committed to fostering an environment where everyone has the opportunity to learn, lead, and compete. We look forward to seeing the impact these women will continue to make within the team and across the future of motorsports.
